I had the privilege to be asked to support the Victorian Alpaca Youth yesterday at the Royal Melbourne Show. The enthusiasm of the leaders, participants and their families is inspiring.
It was such a fun day.
I took 7 alpacas which all participated in “Walk an Alpaca” The joy on the children and adults that got to go with a walk with our alpacas was worth every minute of my sore feet.
The young cria I took tired quite quickly and were left to rest after lunch but the 18 month and over boys were amazingly patient and good natured during the entire day. Very proud of them.
